About the role#
This is a part-time, paid Nurse Extern position within the Medical Surgical department. You will gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting while working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
What you'll do#
- Perform patient care duties such as bathing, feeding, dressing, grooming, and transporting patients.
- Obtain patient vitals.
- Conduct hourly rounds to check on patient well-being.
- Help maintain a secure and comforting environment for patients and their visitors.
What you'll need#
- Successful completion of a Nursing Fundamentals course.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Enrollment in a nursing program.
