About the role#
This part-time Nurse Extern position at McLeod Health provides hands-on experience in a Medical Surgical setting. You will work directly under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to support patient care and unit operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist patients with daily needs including bathing, feeding, dressing, and grooming.
- Obtain patient vitals and help with transport.
- Perform hourly rounds to check on patient well-being.
- Maintain a secure and comfortable environment for patients and their visitors.
What you'll need#
- Successful completion of a Nursing Fundamentals course.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Enrollment in a nursing program.
