About the role#
McLeod Health is hiring a Radiologic Tech Extern for our location in Little River, South Carolina. This is a part time, on-site position. You will work alongside experienced technologists to gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Help technologists prepare patients and exam rooms.
- Observe and assist with imaging procedures within your scope of practice.
- Keep supply areas clean and manage inventory.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Valid BLS Certification.
- Technical knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
