About the role#
McLeod Health is hiring a Nurse Extern for the Coronary Care Unit in Florence, South Carolina. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling start date. You will work on-site under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to support patient care.
What you'll do#
- Perform patient care duties including bathing, feeding, dressing, transporting, and grooming.
- Obtain vital signs based on the needs of the patient population.
- Conduct hourly rounds to monitor patient well-being.
- Maintain a secure and comforting environment for patients and their visitors.
What you'll need#
- Successful completion of a Nursing Fundamentals course.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
