Learn more at the RoleWe are seeking highly motivated Engineering Co-op students to join our Manufacturing Engineering team supporting the development, optimization, and sustainment of advanced ophthalmic medical device manufacturing operations. This role provides hands-on experience in a regulated, high-tech manufacturing environment and offers opportunities to work on process improvements, equipment development, manufacturing automation, quality initiatives, and product support activities.Depending on business needs and individual strengths, co-op students may support projects within Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Process Engineering functions.The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex technical problems, enjoys working cross-functionally, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Engineering FocusSupport manufacturing process development, optimization, and validation activities.Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.Participate in investigations related to yield, quality, equipment performance, and manufacturing efficiency.Assist with equipment qualification, process characterization, and continuous improvement initiatives.Develop and update manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects focused on reducing waste and improving productivity.Mechanical Engineering FocusAssist in the design and improvement of mechanical parts, manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and assembly equipment.Support mechanical
