About the role#
The Artificial Intelligence (Operations) Undergraduate Internship offers hands-on experience applying AI within Health Plan Operations. You will work with operational leaders, business teams, and technology partners to see how automation, predictive analytics, and process intelligence impact healthcare. This role is designed to help you gain practical skills while contributing to projects that improve service delivery and operational performance.
What you'll do#
- Support AI-related initiatives across functions like Claims, Member Service, Enrollment, and Benefits Administration.
- Identify opportunities for AI enablement and process optimization.
- Conduct research and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Participate in pilot initiatives and process evaluations.
- Prepare reports and presentations for project planning and implementation.
- Assist with day-to-day operational objectives under the guidance of senior personnel.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
- Academic focus in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Ability to work in the U.S. independently, as visa sponsorship is not provided.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, part-time internship based on-site in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- The program term is Summer 2027.
