About the role#
The Decision Enablement team helps Global Regulatory Affairs turn complex information into actionable decisions. We connect business strategy, decision science, data, and emerging technologies to help leaders make informed, transparent choices. This internship supports the Decision Enablement strategy and the Global Regulatory Affairs AI Excellence Program. It is designed for students interested in how organizations adopt new technologies and translate technical capabilities into business value.
What you'll do#
- Research trends in AI, agentic AI, decision intelligence, and digital transformation.
- Support initiatives that integrate AI into regulatory workflows and decision-making.
- Participate in stakeholder interviews, workshops, and cross-functional discussions.
- Assess opportunities to improve business processes, decision quality, and organizational effectiveness.
- Contribute to AI adoption, change management, measurement, and reporting.
- Develop executive-ready presentations, summaries, and recommendations.
- Collaborate across business and technical teams to connect capabilities with business needs.
- Assist in developing decision-ready insights through metrics, dashboards, performance reporting, and scenario analysis.
- Examine how data quality, governance, and organizational behaviors influence decision-making.
- Support communications and engagement activities that help employees adopt AI-enabled workflows.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, Health or Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong interest in AI, business strategy, emerging technologies, and decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfort working across business and technical teams.
- A curious, collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn.
- Preferred: Coursework in AI, business analytics, digital transformation, or technology strategy.
- Preferred: Experience conducting research, analyzing information, or supporting project work.
- Preferred: Exposure to data visualization, process improvement, or technology adoption initiatives.
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
