About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to perform radiographic imaging procedures under the supervision of a technologist. You will work at a technical level, using independent judgment to complete various imaging tasks. The role is part-time and operates on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Position patients and select technical parameters for imaging.
- Assist physicians during procedures and prepare contrast media or medications.
- Document clinical information and complete regulatory or billing paperwork.
- Maintain radiation safety standards for all patients.
- Support department operations by managing supplies and helping with patient flow.
- Attend to patient comfort and needs throughout their visit.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a radiology technologist program in good standing.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance.
