About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in financial planning and analysis within the Allegheny Health Network. You will work under the guidance of senior personnel to develop professional skills while supporting day-to-day operational objectives. This is a paid, part-time position scheduled for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in projects and programs tailored to the needs of the finance department.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of unit initiatives.
- Conduct research and prepare reports, including recommendations and proposals for action.
- Interact with colleagues and internal or external constituencies to resolve operational problems.
- Provide entry-level professional services under supervision.
- Undertake related studies or enrichment programs.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as requested by management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary education program.
- A focus in Finance.
- Ability to receive guidance, training, and mentoring from senior staff.
- Commitment to following company policies regarding data security and privacy.
