About the role#
This internship offers a 12-week experience within our Oncology Discovery team. You will work alongside mentors on research and development projects focused on identifying novel therapeutics and understanding drug mechanisms. The program is designed to provide hands-on experience in a large pharmaceutical research and development environment, culminating in a presentation at our annual global research symposium.
What you'll do#
- Design and execute experiments while maintaining accurate data records.
- Participate in department, team, and cross-functional meetings.
- Review scientific literature and explore new technologies.
- Shadow key functional roles to learn about the drug development process.
- Assist with the interpretation, reporting, and preparation of research results.
- Lead specific internship program activities or group projects.
- Attend the Bench to Bedside Lecture Series.
- Prepare and present an abstract or poster at the annual research symposium.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university or college program, with no graduation occurring before or during the internship.
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least four semesters; graduate students must be pursuing a Master's or PhD.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Degree or relevant experience in biology, cell or molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, immuno-oncology, or computational biology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.
- Ability to lead project teams and present findings to senior leadership.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite and Slack.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

- Location: Spring House, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (approximately May 10th to August 13th).
- Modality: Hybrid.
