About the role#
The Inventory Analyst Co-Op supports global inventory management, analytics, and digitalization initiatives. You will work with inventory leaders and regional teams to balance customer service, inventory investment, and business objectives. This role involves hands-on exposure to inventory planning, process improvement, and data reporting.
What you'll do#
- Support inventory analytics and reporting using Power BI, Excel, SAP, and other digital tools.
- Monitor performance metrics such as inventory targets, service levels, backorders, and excess inventory.
- Prepare dashboards, scorecards, and reports for leadership reviews and operational meetings.
- Analyze data trends to provide insights for inventory optimization.
- Support governance processes by validating data, maintaining documentation, and tracking action plans.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial organizations.
- Assist in scenario analyses related to lead times, demand variability, inventory policies, and network changes.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce manual work and improve data quality.
What you'll need#
- Completion of undergraduate freshman year at an accredited university.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work with large datasets and identify trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.
- Preferred: Experience with Power BI, SAP, SQL, Python, Power Query, or data visualization tools.
- Preferred: Familiarity with inventory management principles or supply chain planning concepts.
Location & details#
- Location: Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Term: January to December 2027 (Winter, Summer, and Fall 2027).
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
