About the role#
This co-op position supports the R&D or Commercial Procurement teams within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. You will assist in the strategic acquisition of goods and services while contributing to broader organizational goals. This role involves working within a matrixed environment where you will manage supplier relationships and identify new opportunities for innovation.
What you'll do#
- Lead special projects, including the development and execution of category strategies.
- Conduct competitive sourcing events, spending analyses, and process improvement initiatives.
- Track key performance indicators to support functional goals.
- Apply data-driven insights to inform sourcing decisions.
- Explore and recommend digital tools to improve procurement processes.
- Manage supplier relationships and identify opportunities for innovation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
- Completion of at least your undergraduate freshman year.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with data analytics tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically with formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

- Locations: Titusville, NJ; Raritan, NJ; or Spring House, PA.
- Modality: Hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
- Transportation: You must provide your own transportation for any local travel requirements.
- Status: Paid, full-time position.
