About the role#
BrightSpring Health Services is hiring a Procurement Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, part-time position requiring 20 to 30 hours per week on-site in Louisville, Kentucky. You will support procurement operations for various categories, including medical and office supplies, foodservice contracts, fleet maintenance, and energy initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Reconcile financial transactions and coordinate with Accounting and Finance for accurate ledger entries.
- Communicate with field operators to follow up on vendors and contracts.
- Assist procurement managers with data analytic functions.
- Approve the ordering of goods and services.
- Finalize purchase details for orders and deliveries.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a 4-year institution with a major in Business Administration or a related field.
- Moderate proficiency in Excel.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize and report data.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documentation.
- High attention to detail and a self-motivated approach to work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and prioritize tasks.
- No prior experience is required.
