About the role#
As a Business Development intern, you will support strategic growth initiatives by working with leaders across the organization. This role focuses on the corporate development side of healthcare, providing research and analytical support for transactions like acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures. You will gain exposure to how a nationwide healthcare organization operates through collaboration with departments such as finance, legal, and operations.
What you'll do#
- Analyze potential acquisitions and help prepare financial models and presentations for senior management.
- Partner with various departments to conduct diligence on potential acquisitions.
- Assist in transaction processes, including input on negotiation terms.
- Research market trends to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Provide analytical support to help teams evaluate options and resolve issues during strategic projects.
- Develop an understanding of the company's internal capabilities and personnel.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- A reliable work ethic and a high level of motivation.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external personnel.
- A positive attitude and the initiative to take on new tasks.
