About the role#
As an IMM Discovery Intern, you will join a multidisciplinary research and development team focused on advancing therapeutics for immune-mediated diseases. You will work on a defined project aligned with an active discovery program, gaining hands-on experience in experimental or computational research. Throughout the summer, you will receive mentorship while contributing to data analysis, scientific interpretation, and project communication.
What you'll do#
- Design and execute experimental or computational analyses.
- Collect data and maintain accurate experimental records.
- Participate in department and cross-functional team meetings.
- Review relevant literature and emerging technologies.
- Shadow key functional roles to support your professional development.
- Assist with the interpretation and reporting of research results.
- Lead specific programs or group projects.
- Prepare and present an abstract or poster at an organization-wide research symposium.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university or college program in biology, chemistry, biomedical engineering, or related fields.
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least six semesters or equivalent quarters; graduate students (Master’s, PharmD, Physician Assistant, or PhD) are also eligible.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Must not be graduating before, during, or after the internship period.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for future visa sponsorship.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week).
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft business applications and Slack.
- Proven leadership or participation in campus or service programs is preferred.

- Location: Spring House, Pennsylvania.

- Work Modality: Hybrid (on-site three days per week for non-lab roles).
