About the role#
As a Packaging Engineer Co-op, you will support packaging projects alongside cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Operations. You will help ensure that our medical devices remain safe and secure throughout the supply chain. This role requires managing your tasks to meet project timelines and support business needs.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of medical device packaging.
- Create and manage packaging specifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all packaging meets regulatory and quality requirements.
- Recommend improvements to packaging solutions by staying current with industry trends, materials, and new technologies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Packaging Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong interest in medical device packaging and product development.
- A basic understanding of packaging design principles and material science.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Location: Plymouth, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
