About the role#
This is a full-time, paid co-op position based in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. You will work on-site for a six-month term from January to June 2027. This role supports the Global Supplier Quality Approved Supplier List department by managing daily operations and contributing to continuous improvement goals.
What you'll do#
- Support daily departmental activities, including administrative and operational tasks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on processes that impact medical technology products.
- Research industry trends, best practices, and relevant topics to support strategic initiatives.
- Analyze project data to identify patterns and trends, then provide actionable recommendations.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and capture meeting minutes and action items.
- Manage and maintain departmental documentation, records, and files to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights.
- Experience reviewing procedures, translating them into requirements, and identifying process improvements.
- A curious, hands-on approach to solving problems and learning new technical processes.
- Interest in operational efficiency and the implementation of new tools or systems.
- Ability to organize information for documentation, training content, and project deliverables.
- Ability to meet physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements.
