About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Co-op position based in Reedsville, Pennsylvania. You will work on-site for a six-month term, covering the Winter and Summer 2027 period. This role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on operational improvement and project management.
What you'll do#
- Support Operational Excellence initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and productivity goals.
- Work with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, finance, and leadership.
- Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
- Facilitate problem-solving efforts and communicate change initiatives that drive operational performance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate BS degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Manufacturing, or Material Engineering.
- Green Belt certification.
- A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, process mapping, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Visio, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, teamwork, and adaptability.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, curiosity, initiative, attention to detail, and time management.
