About the role#
The Clinical Operations and Global Strategic Evidence Generation team is seeking a Summer 2027 Clinical Affairs & Strategy Intern. This role supports strategic initiatives across Clinical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Evidence Generation within the MedTech Surgery organization. You will gain experience in a collaborative environment while building skills for careers in medical devices, healthcare, and project management.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic initiatives and priority projects across Clinical Affairs and related business functions.
- Contribute to process improvement, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness projects.
- Develop and analyze clinical, operational, and business insights using dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Assist with project planning, tracking, and coordination across a diverse portfolio of clinical programs.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and landscape assessments to inform business decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Research & Development, Preclinical, Data Science, and Marketing.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes using digital tools, automation, and innovative work methods.
- Create and maintain project documentation, training materials, process maps, and meeting summaries.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university, having completed at least your sophomore year.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, pharmacy, health sciences, or a related technical field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet challenging deadlines.
- A drive to think outside the box and proactively identify solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership or participation in campus programs and community service.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for future sponsorship.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Location & details#
- Term: May to August 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Location: Based at the Raritan, New Jersey site with potential for hybrid or remote work based on qualifications.
- Transportation: Ability to provide your own transportation to the Raritan, NJ site is required.
