Pharmacy Intern - Per Diem - Center City Inpatient

About the role#

This per diem Pharmacy Intern position at the Center City Inpatient facility allows students to gain technical and clinical experience. The role is designed to help you prepare for a future career as a pharmacist by integrating pharmaceutical knowledge into a hospital setting.

What you'll do#

• Procure, store, and assist in the dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies for patient and departmental needs.
• Participate in the medication distribution system within Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (TJUH).
• Prepare parenteral products using aseptic technique.
• Ensure the provision of quality pharmacy services.
• Interact professionally with co-workers, visitors, and other staff.

What you'll need#

• Current matriculation in an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Ability to participate in the medication distribution system and prepare parenteral products using aseptic technique.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
