About the role#
The Work Study Student position provides currently enrolled university students with part-time employment to support departmental operations. This role helps you build professional skills while balancing your academic commitments. You will work on-site, with hours scheduled around your coursework.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the day to day maintenance of your assigned department.
- Handle clerical functions such as answering phones, filing, scheduling, and organizing.
- Perform entry-level administrative, operational, or program support duties.
- Provide data entry and light research assistance.
- Support events and programs.
- Provide technology support as needed.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with university policies.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled university student status.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
- Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, and keyboard use.
