About the role#
This per diem internship at Jefferson Center City Outpatient helps you prepare for a future career as a pharmacist. You will gain technical and clinical experience by working directly within the medication distribution system. This role focuses on supporting departmental needs and patient care through hands-on pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Procure, store, and help dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
- Participate in the medication distribution system within TJUH.
- Prepare parenteral products using aseptic technique.
- Maintain quality pharmacy services.
- Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff in a way that reflects the core values of the hospital.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Ability to prepare parenteral products using aseptic technique.
- Ability to maintain quality pharmacy services.
- Ability to interact professionally with visitors and staff.
- Prior experience is helpful but not required.
