Pharmacy Intern - Per Diem - Jefferson Center City Outpatient

About the role#

The Pharmacy Intern role at Jefferson Center City Outpatient is a per diem position designed to help students prepare for a future career as a pharmacist. You will gain technical and clinical experience while supporting the pharmacy department's daily operations and medication distribution systems.

What you'll do#

• Procure, store, and assist in the dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies for patients and the department.
• Participate in the medication distribution system within Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals.
• Prepare parenteral products using aseptic technique.
• Ensure the provision of high-quality pharmacy services.
• Interact with co-workers, visitors, and staff in a manner consistent with the hospital's core values.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Ability to prepare parenteral products using aseptic technique.
• Commitment to maintaining quality pharmacy services and professional interpersonal standards.
• Previous pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.
