About the role#
The Institutional Work Study Student position provides part-time employment for currently enrolled university students. This role supports departmental operations while helping you develop professional skills. You will balance your work responsibilities with your academic commitments.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the day-to-day maintenance and operations of your assigned department.
- Handle clerical tasks such as answering phones, filing, scheduling, and organizing.
- Provide front-line customer service.
- Perform data entry and provide light research assistance or technology support.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- The ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
- Familiarity with standard clerical functions.
- A commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.
- Students pursuing majors in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or Sociology are encouraged to apply.
