About the role#
The Federal Work Study Student position provides currently enrolled university students with part-time employment opportunities. This role supports departmental operations and helps you build professional skills. You will balance your work responsibilities with your academic commitments.
What you'll do#
You will assist with the day to day maintenance of your assigned department. Your tasks will vary based on departmental needs, but generally include:
- Clerical functions like answering phones, filing, scheduling, and organizing
- Providing front-line customer service
- Performing data entry and light research assistance
- Supporting office tasks, events, and programs
- Providing technology support
- Other reasonable, related duties as assigned
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a university student
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs
- Comfort with frequent sitting, standing, and keyboard use
- A professional approach and commitment to university policies
