About the role#
The Work Study Student position provides currently enrolled university students with part-time employment to support departmental operations. This role helps you build professional skills, accountability, and time management while you balance your academic commitments. Positions are scheduled around your coursework.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the day to day maintenance and operations of your assigned department.
- Handle clerical functions such as answering phones, filing, scheduling, and organizing.
- Provide front-line customer service and general office support.
- Perform data entry and provide light research assistance.
- Support events, programs, and technology needs.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a university student.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
- Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, and keyboard use.
