About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, you will gain hands-on clinical and technical experience to prepare for a future career as a pharmacist. This position is a per diem, temporary role that supports the daily operations of our inpatient pharmacy services.
What you'll do#
- Procure, store, and help dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies for patients and departments.
- Participate in the medication distribution system within the hospital.
- Prepare parenteral products using aseptic technique.
- Maintain high standards for quality pharmacy services.
- Interact with staff, visitors, and co-workers in a professional manner.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college of pharmacy.
- While previous experience is helpful, it is not required for this role.
