Adult Education Data Intern

About the role#

The Adult Education Data Intern will gain hands-on experience collecting, managing, and analyzing data for adult education programs. This role focuses on supporting operational efficiency through data entry, workflow development, and reporting. This is an unpaid, on-site internship.

What you'll do#

• Manage and analyze qualitative and quantitative data for adult education programs.
• Perform data entry using internal client case management systems, including Efforts to Outcome (ETO) and Client Track (CT).
• Create, collect, and analyze course feedback surveys.
• Assist in developing operational workflows and utilize Power Automate to enhance data collection efficiency.
• Use Microsoft Excel to assemble information for comprehensive reports and participate in creating semi-annual and annual reports.
• Utilize PowerBI for data analysis to support program quality and impact.
• Maintain accurate records and verify data to correct discrepancies.
• Support additional tasks as assigned by the Adult Education department.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate program, or graduation within the last two years, in fields such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Business Administration.
• US citizenship or valid US work authorization.
• Experience with Microsoft Apps, particularly Excel, and familiarity with Box.
• Experience or a willingness to learn Microsoft Power Automate and PowerBI.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive, flexible, and patient attitude.
