About the role#
The Adult Education Data Intern will gain hands-on experience in managing and analyzing data for programs supporting refugees and immigrants. This role focuses on improving data collection efficiency, maintaining internal databases, and supporting operational workflows to help the department track and evaluate program outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Manage and analyze qualitative and quantitative data for adult education programs.
- Perform data entry tasks using internal case management systems such as Efforts to Outcome and Client Track.
- Utilize Power Automate to build and enhance data collection workflows.
- Create, collect, and analyze course feedback surveys.
- Compile information for comprehensive reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
- Verify data accuracy and correct discrepancies to ensure high data quality.
- Organize and maintain departmental files and records.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate program, or recent graduation (within the last 2 years), in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- US citizenship or valid US work authorization.
- Experience or a willingness to learn Microsoft systems, specifically Power Automate and PowerBI.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with file management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
