About the role#
As an R&D Solution Builder Intern at Intelcom | Dragonfly, you will work on software prototypes that address real logistics and supply chain challenges. You will move beyond observation to contribute directly to functional solutions, iterating on code and collaborating with cross-functional teams to test new ideas in a live environment.
What you'll do#
- Design and build software prototypes for selected use cases, focusing on functional, working results.
- Write, test, and iterate on code using modern development practices, frameworks, and AI-enabled tools.
- Contribute to technical design and architecture, including APIs, data flows, and system interactions.
- Implement automation, integrations, or data-driven features to meet operational and partner needs.
- Experiment with AI technologies like LLMs, RAG, and agentic systems to build new capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Data teams to align your work with real-world constraints.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical degree program.
- Practical programming experience from coursework, personal projects, hackathons, or previous internships.
- Familiarity with web development, cloud-based services, databases, or APIs.
- Exposure to applied machine learning or AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to work effectively in environments with uncertainty and changing requirements.
