About the role#
As a Back-end Developer Intern, you will work on the Route backend application. You will contribute to real projects that impact our logistics and delivery operations. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Montreal.
What you'll do#
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using .NET.
- Participate in the development, testing, and maintenance of our backend systems.
- Work with the operations department to turn requirements into technical solutions.
- Improve existing backend testing processes.
- Take part in code reviews and share feedback with your team.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize features for our mobile applications.
- Support backend updates and monitor performance reliability.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders across Canada.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C#.
- Familiarity with Java, Python, or JavaScript is an asset.
- Experience with web development frameworks and databases.
- A logical and analytical approach to solving problems.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to learn.
