About the role#
As an Aircraft Software Integration Intern, you will work at the intersection of robotics, embedded software, and systems engineering. You will support our team in ensuring that the software powering our autonomous aircraft operates reliably and safely. This role involves testing and integrating features that impact how our vehicles fly, navigate, and respond to the environment. You will gain experience with simulation tools, flight telemetry, and testing infrastructure to validate software performance.
What you'll do#
- Analyze datasets from engineering systems, vehicle sensors, and other sources to identify patterns.
- Design charts and dashboards using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, or Tableau.
- Maintain real-time dashboards to track key metrics and system performance.
- Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and organization tasks.
- Write SQL queries to interact with databases.
- Assist with machine learning model development and validation for autonomy applications.
- Develop scripts and tools to improve workflows and automation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with Python for scientific programming, including libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, and Plotly.
- Basic understanding of SQL for querying and working with data.
- Experience with statistics, linear algebra, or numerical methods.
- Exposure to software development practices such as version control with Git, debugging, and documentation.
- An interest in applying engineering and data analysis to solve real-world problems.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January to April/May).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
