About the role#
The Commercial Marketplace team manages the operating system that connects site-level conditions to commercial action. We track marketplace health across sites and metros, balancing demand, capacity, and profitability. As an intern, you will help us understand site performance and identify constraints that limit growth. You will learn how levers like pricing, promotions, and partner prioritization function within a real delivery network.
What you'll do#
- Build and refine the playbook for marketplace levers, including pricing, promotions, and demand shaping.
- Analyze site and cohort performance to identify growth priorities for sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Create and maintain recurring reports and dashboards to track performance.
- Support daily and weekly readouts on marketplace health, fulfillment, and efficiency.
- Monitor aircraft availability and operational constraints to surface risks to growth or customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to turn data insights into action and scale successful programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s degree program.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using spreadsheets to organize and communicate data.
- Ability to investigate performance at different levels of detail and provide clear recommendations.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to cross-functional teams.
- A collaborative, self-directed work style.
- An interest in marketplaces, logistics, and technology.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in South San Francisco, California.
- The role takes place during the Summer 2027 term.
- Applicants must be able to work full-time on-site for the duration of the internship.
