    About the role#

    This internship sits on the Change Management and New Product Introduction team. You will help us process and implement hardware changes at high volume. Your work supports our ability to expand operations while maintaining our current design improvement speed.

    What you'll do#

    • Build a tool that visualizes hardware changes over time and shows how product configurations evolve.
    • Create a tool that evaluates configuration compatibility across hardware revisions and summarizes capabilities.
    • Design a user interface for submitting engineering changes that standardizes data and reduces errors.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, computer science, information systems, data science, or a related field.
    • Experience building software, data, dashboard, or automation tools through coursework, projects, research, or prior internships.
    • Familiarity with technical tools or languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, APIs, spreadsheets, databases, or low-code platforms.
    • Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills.
    • Ability to gather requirements from users and turn ambiguous problems into clear workflows.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented approach to validating data and managing priorities.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, on-site internship based in South San Francisco, California.
    • The program runs during the Summer 2027 term, from May or June through August or September.
    • We are unable to provide work visa sponsorship for this position.
