About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will join our team as a full member with your own projects. We work with you to align these projects with your interests and the needs of our flight and ground systems. You will work cross-functionally with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams to build and test electronics for our logistics system.
What you'll do#
- Prototype new versions of our battery charging electronics.
- Architect ground support electronics to assist the air vehicle.
- Develop and deploy test equipment for design validation.
- Support design validation campaigns to ensure our products meet reliability requirements.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies (Masters and PhD students are also eligible).
- Experience designing and testing a custom circuit board.
- Experience with a project that moved under its own power, such as a plane, car, boat, or robot.
- A history of collaborating on projects as part of a group.
- A sample of work you are proud of or a short note about your prior experience.
- Majors in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, or Mathematics.

- This is a full-time, on-site position located in South San Francisco, California.
- The internship term is Winter 2027.
- This is a paid internship.
