About the role#
CMA CGM Canada is hiring a Sales Support Coordinator for a 6-month internship in Montreal. This full-time position requires 40 hours of work per week. The role focuses on supporting the sales department through pricing, customer communication, and market analysis.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and provide pricing proposals for customers managed by the sales team.
- Follow up on quotations that are expiring, lost, or not yet booked.
- Maintain quotes and provide business support for customer portfolios.
- Make proactive telephone sales calls to follow up on quotations and promote services.
- Collect and report market information regarding competitor activities and service offerings.
- Update CRM systems with relevant customer feedback and details.
- Coordinate with internal trade and pricing teams to ensure consistent support.
- Assist in resolving disputes and claims related to freight.
What you'll need#
- College degree or equivalent education.
- 2 years of experience in the shipping industry.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to use Microsoft Windows programs.
- Ability to work well in a team while maintaining the capacity to work independently.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
