About the role#
CMA CGM Canada is hiring a sales coordinator intern for a 6-month term in Montreal. This full-time position involves working 40 hours per week within our sales support team. You will assist our external and specialized sales departments by managing client proposals and maintaining commercial documentation.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and send pricing proposals to clients.
- Communicate with customers and Trade teams to ensure clear information flow.
- Guide clients through the use of MyPrices, our digital quoting tool.
- Track quotes that have expired or remain unbooked and perform follow-up calls.
- Update the CRM with relevant client information and feedback.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve disputes and support claims.
- Identify potential volume and new business opportunities for the external sales team.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor activities and services.
- Promote the full range of CMA CGM services, including intermodal and e-commerce solutions.
What you'll need#
- A college diploma or equivalent, with a background in transport or logistics considered an asset.
- Two years of experience in the maritime transport industry.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows programs.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
