About the role#
As a Rotational Human Resources Intern, you will work on projects across several HR teams. This includes Employee Relations, Compliance, Recruiting, Compensation, Performance Management, and Payroll Administration. You will complete assignments that support our current business needs while learning how these functions work together.
What you'll do#
- Complete assignments by following procedures and using data to support initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams to solve business problems and communicate your progress.
- Identify improvement opportunities and escalate risks when necessary.
- Pursue self-development by seeking feedback and sharing knowledge with others.
- Observe and learn about liability management, including performance reviews and policy development.
- Assist with employee benefits management, payroll processing, and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze pay practices to make recommendations for compensation programs.
- Implement programs to enhance productivity, such as drafting job descriptions and performance appraisal systems.
- Attend events to connect with other interns and associates.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration or Human Resources.
- A GPA of 3.25 or higher is preferred.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Basic presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and experience with customer relationship management software.
- The ability to learn new application programs as needed.
