About the role#
This is a rotational internship program where you will work on projects across various teams. You will gain experience in Marketing, Business Development, Sales Engineering, Sales Performance Improvement, and the Sales Organization. The work is based on current business needs and opportunities at Insperity.
What you'll do#
- Complete work assignments by applying your knowledge to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with others to solve business problems and support department objectives.
- Communicate progress on tasks and escalate issues when necessary.
- Share resources and information with coworkers while seeking performance feedback.
- Examine marketing functions including advertising, brand marketing, communications, public relations, and corporate sponsorships.
- Drive the strategy and execution of marketing and business development initiatives.
- Develop and execute programs that align with corporate objectives to increase market share and revenue.
- Track the effectiveness of programs and prepare reports on marketing KPIs.
- Identify small and midsize businesses for services and advise on market trends.
- Attend events to connect with interns and associates across the company.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in or completion of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing.
- A GPA of 3.25 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and experience using customer relationship management software.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments at once.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
- Basic presentation skills.
- A demonstrated ability to learn new application programs.
