About the role#
As a Rotational AI Intern, you will work with diverse teams to design, develop, test, and maintain AI-focused solutions. You will rotate through various projects that apply AI concepts to real-world business challenges. This role involves active participation in problem framing and system design to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
What you'll do#
- Complete AI-focused assignments using current tools and methodologies.
- Develop and refine AI models and workflows using machine learning, data analysis, and programming languages like Python or R.
- Assist in the creation and review of technical documentation, including semantic layers, knowledge graphs, and ontologies.
- Support AI solution design by defining interfaces, methods, and parameters.
- Participate in model evaluation, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide troubleshooting support for algorithms, data pipelines, and API integrations.
- Communicate project progress, insights, and risks to team leaders.
- Collaborate with IT and AI teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and ethical AI practices.
- Engage in self-development by attending training events and exploring generative AI tools.
- Assist in the implementation and post-implementation support of AI-driven business solutions.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Currently pursuing or have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in AI or a related field.
- Preferred GPA of 3.25 or higher.
- Understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals, neural networks, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision.
- Knowledge of data structures, pipelines, and cloud/API integration.
- Familiarity with ethical AI use, bias mitigation, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL, with experience in scripting for automation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle confidential information professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
