About the role#
As a Rotational Technology Intern, you will work with various Innovative Technology Solutions teams. This role provides exposure to the full software development life cycle. You will contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions in an agile team environment.
What you'll do#
- Apply tools and technologies to translate business requirements into functional hardware and software solutions.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of technical systems.
- Support systems integration testing and user acceptance testing.
- Participate in software development training as assigned by your mentor.
- Learn key processes including scope definition, work effort estimation, and business requirements gathering.
- Create technical documentation and follow established design standards.
- Perform application code assignments to build your technical skills.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.25 or higher is preferred.
- Programming experience in languages such as Java, C#, SQL, Perl, or XML.
- Exposure to object-oriented programming, data structures, software engineering techniques, quality assurance, databases, and networking.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with ambiguity, adapt to change, and handle sensitive information professionally.
- A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn.

- Location: Kingwood, Texas.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
- The term is rolling.
