About the role#
As a People Operations Intern at Andgo, you will gain hands-on experience across the entire People Ops function. You will work on a small team, tackling real problems and taking ownership of projects that improve how we work. This role involves everything from recruiting and onboarding to office operations and company events. You will see how the different parts of People Operations fit together while using AI and automation to improve our processes.
What you'll do#
- Support recruiting by managing candidate communication, coordinating interviews, and improving hiring processes, scorecards, and interview guides.
- Improve and automate the employee onboarding experience by mapping processes, testing automations, and documenting workflows.
- Build and maintain an employee handbook to make policies easy to navigate.
- Test and improve internal AI tools used to answer employee questions.
- Coordinate company events, All Hands meetings, travel, and other team initiatives.
- Manage Saskatoon office operations, including facilities, supplies, vendors, and meeting setups.
- Assist with day-to-day People Ops projects and address employee needs as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Human Resources, Business, or related co-op program.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple moving pieces at once.
- Comfort asking questions and working with people across different teams and levels.
- Good judgment and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
- Curiosity about AI, technology, and finding better ways to work.
- Ability to take ownership and figure things out when there is not a perfect set of instructions.
- Willingness to jump between large projects and the practical tasks that keep an office running.
