About the role#
As a DevOps Support Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise DevOps initiatives. You will work with our team to build automation solutions and improve modern technology tools. This role provides mentorship from technology professionals and exposure to standard software delivery processes.
What you'll do#
- Build, enhance, and maintain Jenkins pipelines for software delivery.
- Assist with Bitbucket administration, including writing scripts to automate operational tasks.
- Research and implement tools for artifact management, security scanning, test automation, and AI integrations.
- Collaborate with the team to find new opportunities for process improvement.
- Document technical solutions and recommendations.
What you'll need#
- An understanding of software development fundamentals.
- Experience or coursework in Java, Groovy, Git, and PowerShell scripting.
- A strong interest in automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and cloud technologies.
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, critical thinking, and clear communication.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, part-time internship based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- The position is on-site for Summer 2027.
