About the role#
As an Internal Audit Intern, you will work with our audit staff to evaluate business processes, risks, and controls. This internship provides exposure to audit methodologies and hands-on experience with risk assessment and reporting. You will work across departments to support organizational goals through analysis and audit practices.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit testing and sample selection procedures.
- Document test results in audit software and maintain supporting documentation.
- Help draft audit reports and summarize findings.
- Participate in process walkthroughs to identify business risks and evaluate internal controls.
- Conduct interviews with auditees and document key observations.
- Research information to support audit projects and compliance initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting or Finance program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
- Strong research, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shift between assignments.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional demeanor and a willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail and the ability to draw conclusions from data.
