About the role#
IKO North America is seeking a Corporate Reliability Engineering Intern to join the team in Brampton. This full-time position is available for the Fall 2026 term. You will work alongside Reliability Engineers, Plant Maintenance Supervisors, and other technical staff to support reliability initiatives and asset management.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data regarding parts categorization and usage rates.
- Review field labels and drawings to create a cross-reference with standardized asset names.
- Collect and analyze downtime data using Prodac, Excel, and CMMS.
- Identify and trend failure patterns for critical equipment.
- Standardize failure modes and maintenance tasks.
- Create hyperlinks between PDF drawings, manuals, and service request forms to improve information access.
- Document necessary updates for asset drawings.
- Perform spare parts optimization for critical assets.
- Assist with evidence collection during root cause analysis investigations.
- Develop and update CMMS standard operating procedures, test scripts, and training videos.
What you'll need#
- Recent graduate from a university engineering program or a 3rd or 4th year student.
- Preferred majors include Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to work as a self-starter.
- Troubleshooting skills are an asset.
