About the role#
We are looking for an Intern Engineer to join our Roadway team in Las Vegas for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship focused on gaining practical experience in infrastructure and transportation projects. Please note that relocation and housing assistance are not provided for this role.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Assist with the research, development, and design phases of projects.
- Help prepare engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and organize information for project documentation.
- Take on other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program, with a preference for students who have completed at least two years.
- Pursuing a degree in Civil, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Familiarity with introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.
- Ability to accept and apply direction from peers and supervisors.
- Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD is preferred.

- Pay Range: $22.12 - $33.18 per hour.
