About the role#
This position is open to current and recent HNTB interns only. You will join the team to assist with the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans. You will work on a variety of projects, applying engineering techniques and design criteria to meet project goals.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned work within the provided schedule and hours.
- Support the preparation and modification of project designs, reports, and calculations.
- Assist with project quantity and cost estimates.
- Perform research, data collection, and field investigations.
- Help the engineering team organize project files and administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental).
- Experience with design calculations.
- Knowledge of standard engineering techniques and procedures.
- Status as a current or recent HNTB intern.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Oakland, California.
- This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
- The pay range for this position is $83,008.49 to $124,512.74 per year.
