About the role#
This position is open exclusively to current or former HNTB interns. As a Returning New Grad Engineer I, you will contribute to the delivery of complex infrastructure projects by applying engineering techniques and design criteria. You will work in partnership with project teams to develop conceptual and detailed designs, perform technical calculations, and support the execution of various project phases.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned work within the provided schedule and hours.
- Support the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
- Assist in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
- Provide organizational and administrative support for design files.
- Conduct research, data collection, and field investigations to support engineering teams.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Architecture).
- Understanding of engineering principles relevant to your discipline.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
- Ability to work on-site.
