About the role#
HNTB is hiring an Environmental Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will work under close supervision to support our departments with projects related to science, planning, and technology. This role focuses on ecology and archaeology.
What you'll do#
- Assist project team members with day-to-day support tasks.
- Conduct basic research and gather data.
- Maintain project-specific records, collections, and files.
- Help create graphics, presentation materials, and reports.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a related undergraduate or graduate program.
- A degree path in Environmental Science, Ecology, Forestry, Fisheries, Wildlife, or a related field.
- A strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.
- Ability to assist with various support tasks, including field surveys.

- This position is paid.
