About the role#
The Accounting & Finance Intern supports our finance team with day-to-day operations, financial reporting, and business analysis. You will gain hands-on experience in the aerospace and technology sector while contributing to our core financial processes and strategic planning.
What you'll do#
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reporting.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Maintain financial records, documentation, and supporting schedules.
- Compile and analyze data for business decision-making.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Conduct research to support finance and operational initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Must qualify as a U.S. person under 22 CFR 120.62.
- Preferred: Coursework in financial or managerial accounting, corporate finance, or economics.
- Preferred: Experience with financial modeling, ERP platforms, or advanced Excel functions like PivotTables.
- Preferred: Previous internship or project experience related to finance or accounting.
