About the role#
The Business Development Intern supports the Growth and Business Development team at Heven AeroTech. You will assist with market research, customer analysis, and pipeline management. This position provides hands-on experience in the aerospace and technology sector while you learn how organizations identify new opportunities and support strategic growth.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research on markets, industries, customers, and competitors.
- Identify and research potential partners and new business opportunities.
- Maintain business development pipelines, opportunity trackers, and customer databases.
- Research government, commercial, and international opportunities.
- Monitor industry news, market trends, and emerging customer priorities.
- Prepare research summaries, briefing materials, and presentations.
- Support the preparation of customer meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up activities.
- Develop profiles for companies, customers, and competitors.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Engineering, Marketing, and Capture.
- Participate in team meetings and strategy discussions.
- Handle special projects and maintain the confidentiality of business information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited college or university.
- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Communications, Political Science, or an Engineering field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to gather information from multiple sources and summarize findings clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work both independently and within a team.
- Professional communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Must qualify as a U.S. person under 22 CFR §120.62 for ITAR/EAR export control laws.
