About the role#
The Procurement & Contracts Intern supports the purchasing and contract administration functions at Heven AeroTech. You will assist with supplier coordination, maintain essential records, and help ensure procurement processes align with company objectives. This role provides hands-on experience in an aerospace and technology setting, working alongside teams like Engineering, Finance, and Legal.
What you'll do#
- Manage day-to-day procurement tasks, including purchase requests and purchase orders.
- Collect and organize supplier quotes, pricing information, and related documentation.
- Conduct vendor research and assist with the onboarding process.
- Track contract status, expiration dates, and deliverables.
- Review procurement documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain trackers, spreadsheets, and reports to support sourcing and supplier evaluations.
- Process invoices and receiving documentation.
- Prepare presentations and reports for internal use.
- Handle sensitive supplier and contract information with discretion.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Excel functions, PivotTables, or data analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, purchase orders, or contract management is a plus.
- Interest in aerospace, manufacturing, or government contracting.
